oooo totally forgot - cute pictures of Anna at lunch today, this was the first time I'd tried it - what a hit! She was so enthralled with everything she refused to look at me, when she did finally look at me was so irritated with the camera she stopped smiling. I think this'll become more of a regular thing - Oh yeah, and Marianne, she knows the sign for change! Well, we don't think she actually knows what it means, but she definitely knows it means, 'not sleep' and calms right down and starts kicking and cooing. We're absolutely convinced she's responding to the sign. (total aside, still not quite used to changing a kicking baby, those legs wiggle a TON!)

Wahoo! What other signs does she recognize? Don't you just love the easy communication with sign language?? Those pictures are priceless! That's the very same look she was 'wearing' when she came into the world and I met her for the first time...a look of wonder, as in: Who are you people and what are you doing with me???
