The entire reason for our trip out to Universal...D-D-D-D-Dora

Ella's 'kissing' Dora - for those of you that recognize Ella's 'unkiss' as she can't do anything as common as actually give a kiss - but she will incline her head toward you so that you can kiss her :)

So at some point during our trip I mentioned to Ella that Belle speaks French, just like she does. I get a Very Indignant look, "MOM! I do NOT speak French, I speak Spanish!"
Well...being the clever mom that I am, as well as up on all the current Dora 'lingo' I reminded her of Dora's song, "I speak Spanish and English too..." and told Ella that we'll make it Ella's song, "I speak Spanish and French and English too." That was a Huge Hit!





(totally unrelated and unrepentantly bragging, today after school, well actually every day, the teacher plays this game with the kids about who's jacket goes where. So, today the 2nd class is in Spanish so the teacher is trying to get Ella to say, "Mi chaqueta" and Ella keeps telling her, "non, moi veste." Cracked me UP!!!! - Oh yeah, and today Madame told me that Ella has a perfect French accent - and believe it or not, this was completely unsolicited, straight from the teacher. I guess we can all safely say that Ella did NOT acquire this skill from Sam!!!"
