but I absolutely LOVE that my girl was thinking about how other people would feel.
Here's the scene, Ella and I are sitting on the couch. We are watching the inaguration speech, she's cuddled up just like I'm reading a book to her. She's totally enthralled listening to Obama speak and all of sudden pipes up with, "Mommy, it's okay, now people who voted for John McCain won't need to be sad anymore."
We haven't spoken of John McCain since probably November 5th so I was impressed she remembered but also impressed that she cared about what people think. I'm also really happy that she got enough good feelings from Obama's speech that she thinks people who voted for John McCain don't need to be sad anymore :)
