We were talking with Dr. Cori and we told her about Ella's class making wishes for what they would want changed in the world for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Ella wished that there was no leukima.
The Oncologists see a lot of stuff, so I'm sure it takes a lot to make them cry, but I think this caught Dr. Cori off guard and her eyes started to well up and she said, "Me too. Me too."
Then Dr. Cori told us that when she was twelve she told her mother that when she grows up she was going to cure cancer. So now her mother will ask her if she's cured cancer yet and she tells her, "Everyday Mom. I cure cancer everyday."
