Ella's First Dentist Visit

Today was a long day - so we'll play catch-up with good things :)

These are photos of Ella's first visit to the Dentist. She was so super-excited but I think still nervous because she didn't know exactly what to expect. The visit was the week before Halloween, to help with timeline and in case you happen to notice an absence of snow of the ground - Rest assured, there is no absence of snow :)


Here she is on the way in, she'd decided to take Jolie with us that day, along with blankie. Sure fire tip-off to being nervous. Anyway, in this picture she is telling Jolie, "It'll be alright, it'll be okay. You'll be fine." Now - THAT is some self-talk.



Awww...She looks so little in that big chair - but she was a Major Trooper. We were so proud of her.



This is when she wasn't so happy - the only time she cried the entire time, or was even fussy. Guess why she's crying? The assistant got the flouride gel on her lip and it was, "MESSY!!! MESSY!!!" That's my girl.

















End of the visit, new toothbrush, floss(?), sticker, a couple of toys AND a balloon! What more can you ask for?
