Anna's First Food!!!

What a Hit!!!!

She's been waiting and waiting for food.

We were going to hold off for two more weeks until she was actually six months old since she's already on formula - but this night at dinner - Anna flipped her lid!

She was so mad that we wouldn't give her food, she kept reaching for our food and silverware and plates. Not only was she trying to get to the food - she was screaming and yelling at us?!?!?! "Aaaahhhh! Ugghhhh! Aaaahh!" Stretching out those fat baby arms...flailing, screaming, grunting, yelling ... (we took this to mean she wanted to eat)

Sam and I, being the big softies that we are, decided that we could give her food two weeks early.

WOW!!!
Anna was so absolutely thrilled - she ate a ton!!!!

Now...if we could just get her to try new things like her sister. Sweet potatoes, nope. Apples, nope. Carrots, maybe? We're still trying to find out foods she actually likes, although now she'll eat rice cereal and baby oatmeal, as well as a bit of apples and carrots. Still not too fond of the sweet potatoes but I'm sure that will come.







Next Up: Pears and then peas - we might have the pears and peas before we head off to Disney so that'll be a little more variety than apples, cereal and orange food. Which, of course, would be fine for Sam but would drive Ella and I crazy - so by extension obviously Anna too :)
